‘American Idol’-Finalist In Negotiation to Join Cast of ‘Glee’My Nguyen June 22, 2012
It seems like Jessica Sanchez is doing pretty well for herself. The American Idol-finalist who lost the Idol crown back in May to fellow-contestant, Phillip Phillips, is currently undergoing final negotiations with Glee producers for the 16-year old singing sensation to join the cast of Glee for a multi-episode arc, reports MTV.
Besides her prior commitments with the summer Idol tour and her pending role on Glee, Sanchez is also hard at work on her first solo album, which Sanchez hopes will have a more urban sound.
But as far as when Gleeks may anticipate the San Diegan-native’s cameo, it is reported that Sanchez won’t be appearing until closer to the halfway mark of season four due to her previous commitments with Idol.
