According to MTV, the premiere of West’s Cruel Summer short film, which bears the same name as his G.O.O.D. label debut LP, has garnered great interest over what the Watch the Throne-artist has in store for his fans. The premiere of Cruel Summer ranged from having a formal red carpet opening to the film being projected on seven video screens inside a tented pyramid on the Mediterranean Sea
The 30-minute film stars G.O.O.D Music artist Kid Cudi, who is also featured in the compilation. Kid Cudi plays a car thief who falls in love with a blind Arabian princess, and over the culmination of events, snatches of music from the Cruel Summer LP are played alongside the epic scenes that were filmed in the Middle East earlier this year.
