Katy Perry on Plans to Launch Own Record LabelIn a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Katy Perry opens up about her split with actor Russell Brand, and her plans to launch her own record label.
It doesn’t seem surprising that Perry is currently working on starting on her own record label. The Teenage Dream-singer who has faced numerous accounts of fall-backs and rejections throughout her career, that included being unceremoniously dropped from a record label to having to reject bad publishing deals before she was able to hit mainstream success with her hit single, I’ve Kissed A Girl, really seems to be more susceptible about the struggles and pitfalls of a recording artist.
Her 3D concert film, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, to be released in theaters on July 5th, will probably give audiences a better insight into the recording process, but in the meantime fans will have to suffice with her latest music video for her last single off the Teenage Dream-album, titled, Wide Awake – out now.
