Yahoo and Spotify MergesIt looks like a merger between Yahoo and Spotify is making musical history. Yahoo is filling the gap that was left open when the Internet media company killed its Yahoo Music Unlimited digital streaming service in 2008, reports LA Times.
Yahoo launched its Music Unlimited service in May 2005, but shut down the service, calling it quits mainly due to an inability to attract enough paying subscribers.
The deal will allow Yahoo to distribute Spotify’s music service to the 700 million people who visit the website each month.
